Ys Origin (イース・オリジン Īsu Orijin?) is a Japanese Action RPG released in 2006 for Microsoft Windows by Nihon Falcom. It is the seventh game in the Ys series but as a prequel, it is the first in terms of chronology. It is the first game in the series not to revolve around the adventures of Adol Christin.
You need to read and follow the instructions that come with the English patch exactly for it to work right.
After you extract the file follow these simple instructions.
1 install the game
2 open the extra disk folder
3 copy everything in the extra disk folder over to YS Origin install folder Default: (C:\Program Files\FALCOM)
4 install the patch (YsO_ENG_v1.0.exe)
5 run setup utility and customize settings (I put my pixels at 800x600 this last time but it might work with any setting
6 play game and enjoy
NOTE: make sure you install the patches in the right order or it will not be completely English. Also if it did not work properly try repeating steps 3-6.
