TheHunter is a free-to-play online hunting simulation for the PC which offers a true to life hunting and nature experience. theHunter runs on the proprietary Avalanche Engine 2.0 developed by Avalanche Studios and integrates state-of-the-art PC technology with a strong web-based community and social media presence.

The latest main patch update features a range of improvements and additions including a completely new hunting experience with the introduction of the Black Bear, the new area Redfeather Falls and the Trophy Shot System.

The company's first release is the already critically acclaimed free-to-play hunting game, theHunter.

What's new in this version: Version 2011000427 updated the new area Redfeather Falls and the Black Bear.

Video Cards that 'The Hunter' presently supports are:
- Nvidia: 7 Series (from 7600 and above)
- ATI: X1800 (and above)
Note: The Hunter will not support Intel / SiS graphics.
For ONline Play:
- Web browser: Firefox 3.0 + or Internet Explorer 7. (We do not support Opera, Safari, Chrome at this stage. The website will still work in these browsers but may not function correctly.)
- EmoteLauncher: This is a small application that must be installed to play theHunter. It is an application that downloads and updates the 3D client.
- TheHunter 3D Client: This is the 3D hunting game. (This will be downloaded automatically when you first go hunting)
- Microsoft. Net Framework 2.1: Required on Windows XP only.
